SUMMARY:Mindfulness for beginners at the Université Populaire
DESCRIPTION:Mindfulness for beginners is a lunchtime course in English at the Université Populaire in Belval: eight Fridays from 12:00 to 12:50\, starting on 13 November. It is meant for people new to mindfulness\, and for anyone who has tried meditation before and felt it was not for them. Each session is a guided meditation built around an everyday situation\, with time to talk through what to do when it feels like it is not working. The approach is practical\, and you do not need to be particularly spiritual. Sessions are on 13\, 20 and 27 November\, 4\, 11 and 18 December\, then 8 and 15 January\, with a break for the Christmas holidays. The eight sessions cost €36. Register on the Université Populaire’s website before the first one. The Université Populaire is in the Terres Rouges building at 14 Porte de France\, a few minutes on foot from Belval-Université station. Know a colleague who would trade a lunch break for this?
