Philip Sayce at Rockhal

Philip Sayce plays the Rockhal Club on Monday 12 October. Doors at 19:30.

Welsh-born and raised in Toronto, Sayce learned the trade in other people’s bands, including years alongside Jeff Healey and Melissa Etheridge, before going out under his own name. He plays loud, tube-amp blues rock of the sort that needs a small room and a lot of volume to make sense.

The Club on a Monday is about as close as this music gets. Standing, and near the front you will feel the amps as much as hear them.
