Belval Plaza turns its Food Court over to the new term for two days. Wednesday is a giant Uno tournament from 16:00 to 18:00, run as two hour-long sessions, with €200 in gift cards for the winners, and a participatory library is set up alongside it. Thursday is the student welcome party, with a DJ set by DJ ChiQa from 18:00 to 21:00.
Places for the tournament are limited and it is open to over-18s. Register on Weezevent, choose the 16:00 or the 17:00 session, and arrive five minutes early. The library alongside is a book exchange: bring one, take one.
It is on level 2 of BP1, and the centre gives an hour of free parking, two hours once you have bought something. No entry charge is mentioned for either day. Worth knowing: Thursday’s set runs an hour past the centre’s usual 20:00 closing.
