Two heavyweights of European extreme metal, in a bar. Mork is the Norwegian black metal project founded in 2004 by Thomas Eriksen, playing raw, traditional black metal in the classic Norwegian mould. Soulburn is a Dutch death metal band formed in 1996 by former members of Asphyx, mixing crushing death metal with doom and blackened edges.
Doors at 17:00, show at 19:00. Presale is €18 and the door is €20, with cash and cards both taken at the venue. No finishing time is published.
One thing worth knowing: MK Bar’s listed hours show Sunday as closed. That is not a contradiction. The bar states plainly that it opens according to its events agenda, so a Sunday show is exactly the sort of night it opens for. This is the first of two metal Sundays there, with Onslaught closing their EU tour the following week.
