Belval Open Mic with Delux Comedy at MK Bar

Delux Comedy runs open mic nights where comedians try material out in front of a real room: some starting, some testing, some pushing. The name comes from “deux Luxembourg”, the Belgian province and the Grand Duchy, and the whole point was to give comedians on both sides somewhere to play without going to Brussels or Paris first.

Entry is free and a hat goes round at the end, which is the arrangement that makes a room like this possible. It runs from 20:00 to 21:30 in the MK Bar, which Delux themselves describe as the most rock and roll café in Belval, and the night is in French.

Booking and performer sign-ups go through deluxcomedy.com, or by email and WhatsApp, both listed there. MK Bar is at 1 Avenue du Swing, a few minutes from Belval-Université station. Superdrive and Pilot Light play the Rockhal Floor the same evening at 20:00, so the street has two cheap nights running at once.
