Eight things most people never find. None need an account, none cost anything, and none of them are anywhere else.

What is open, right now
Not opening hours to work out for yourself. A list of what is actually open at this minute, sorted so the ones about to close are at the top.

2 · The Sunday problem
Luxembourg closes properly
Newcomers find this out the hard way, usually at about four on a Sunday afternoon. There is a page for it, and another for public holidays, and both are worked out from the hours rather than remembered.
Exceptional openings are in there too, so when a shop opens on a Sunday it does not normally, the page knows before you walk over.

This week's menus, before you walk over
Several places in Belval change their lunch menu weekly and put it on Facebook, where you will never see it again. They are collected on the homepage instead.
It is the section that saves the most walking.

Live departures, not a timetable
The next trains and buses from Belval-Université, on the homepage, updating as you look at them.
It is there for the moment outside the Rockhal at twenty to midnight when the only question is whether you can still get home.

5 · Keeping a list
Save places without an account
Tap the heart on anything and it joins your list. No sign-up, no email, no password, and nothing about you leaves your own phone.
Send to my phone turns the list into a QR code, which is how it gets from a laptop into your pocket.

The discounts nobody advertises
Student rates, happy hours, loyalty cards and the free parking rules, in one place. Several of them are only ever mentioned on a sign inside the shop.

7 · When I am wrong
Tell me and I go and check
At the foot of every place page: hours, an address, a closure. It goes to a person, not onto the site, and somebody walks past and looks.
This is the part that keeps the rest of it true. 240 places is only worth something if the details are right.

8 · On your phone
Keep it on the home screen
It installs like an app, without going near an app store: full screen, no address bar, and it opens on today's Belval instead of a browser tab you lost last week.
Pages you have already opened still open with no signal, which is the whole point inside the Plaza, under the station and in the Rockhal queue. Each one says when it was last seen, so a cached opening time can never pretend to be live.

- Tap the three dots, usually top right.
- Tap Open in browser, or Open in Safari, or Open in Chrome.
- Then the steps below work.
iPhone and iPad
- In Safari, tap the share button at the bottom: the square with an arrow coming out of the top.
- Scroll the list down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add, top right.
Chrome and Firefox on an iPhone have the same option in their own share menu.
Android
- In Chrome, tap the three dots, top right.
- Tap Add to Home screen, or Install app.
- Tap Install.
In Samsung Internet the menu is at the bottom right: Add page to, then Home screen.
Chrome or Edge on a computer
- At the right-hand end of the address bar, look for the install icon: a screen with an arrow pointing into it.
- Click it, then Install.
No icon there? The same thing is in the three-dot menu, under Cast, save and share.
Safari on a Mac
- Click the share button in the toolbar.
- Click Add to Dock.
Safari 17 and later.
Firefox on a computer
Firefox on a computer cannot install a site, and no amount of tapping will change that.
Keep it as a bookmark, or install it from Chrome, Edge or Safari. On an Android phone Firefox can do it: the menu, then Add to Home screen.

What this site does not do
No advertising, and nobody pays to be listed. No analytics following you around the web, which is why there is no cookie banner to click away.
It is not official either. Not the University, not the Fonds Belval, not the Plaza, not the Commune. Just somebody who works here.
