Agora Red Rock Challenge

Agora’s Red Rock Challenge takes over the Belval trails this weekend with trail running, mountain biking, gravel and an X-Duathlon. Every race finishes at the Lycée Bel-Val.

Saturday 10 October: Run Trail Day

• 09:30 MTB 39.5 km, timed (day one of the 2 Day MTB Challenge)
• 09:30 X-Duathlon, solo or as a team (21.2 km MTB, 9.6 km run, 18.2 km MTB), podium at 14:00
• 13:00 Trail 29 km from Fond-de-Gras, podium at 16:00
• 14:00 Trail 19.2 km from Fond-de-Gras, podium at 15:30
• 15:00 Trail 10.5 km from the Lycée Bel-Val, podium at 16:30
• 18:00 End of the day

Sunday 11 October: Mountain Bike Day

• 10:00 MTB Marathon 76 km and MTB 62 km, timed, podium at 13:30 (the 76 km also closes the 2 Day MTB Challenge)
• 10:00 to 11:00 Untimed tour starts on the 40, 62 and 76 km
• 17:00 End of the day

Gravel riders choose 32, 66 or 95 km. There is no fixed start, but riders are asked to set off after 10:00, when the mountain bikers start, so the refreshment points are open.

Bib pick-up and late entries are at the Lycée Bel-Val: Friday 18:00 to 20:00, Saturday 08:00 to 16:00 and Sunday 08:00 to 10:00. Registration stays open until the start of each discipline, online or on site by card, with no cash taken. On the day, trail entry costs €25 for the 10.5 km, €30 for the 19.2 km and €35 for the 29 km. Bike prices are on the organisers’ site. Minimum age is 16 on the 10.5 km and 18 on the two longer trails.

Shuttles to Fond-de-Gras leave 45 minutes before each long trail start, from the bottom of the ramp up to the Lycée Bel-Val. The old free car park below the event area is closed. A new free one sits next to it, and the Belval station and Belval Plaza car parks are other options. Full details are on the Red Rock Challenge website.
