The Student Association of the University of Luxembourg (SAUL) opens the new semester with an afterwork at the Belval Student Lounge. Nine in the evening until one in the morning, free entry, and the association calls it the official kickoff of the year.
The lounge is the students’ own common room in the Maison des Arts et des Étudiants, on Place de l’Université directly in front of the Porte des Sciences bus stop. It is the room with the free tea and coffee, the couches and the games, and the student association is the one that runs it.
Nothing needs booking. It is a student association event in the university’s own lounge, so expect a student crowd. If you have just arrived in Belval, this is the easiest evening of the year to meet people who arrived at the same time you did.
