Lëtzebuergesch am Alldag is a practical Luxembourgish course at the Université Populaire in Belval: fourteen Fridays from 16:20 to 18:00, starting on 16 October. It suits beginners and intermediate learners who want to use the language in everyday life, and it is taught in Luxembourgish.

The focus is on speaking. You practise everyday conversations, short messages and typical situations: shopping, asking for information, dealing with admin, calling a restaurant to book a table. A walk through town gives you the chance to try it all out for real.

Sessions are on 16, 23 and 30 October, 13, 20 and 27 November, 4, 11 and 18 December, then 8, 15, 22 and 29 January and 5 February, with breaks for the school holidays. The fourteen sessions cost €126. On 11 October only four places were left, so register soon on the Université Populaire’s website.

The Université Populaire is in the Terres Rouges building at 14 Porte de France, a few minutes on foot from Belval-Université station. Know someone who keeps promising to learn Luxembourgish this year?
