Université à l’essai: try first-year classes at the University of Luxembourg

Secondary school pupils from Luxembourg and the Greater Region can try life as a first-year student at the University of Luxembourg. From Monday 26 October to Friday 6 November, Université à l’essai lets them sit in on up to three first-year Bachelor classes, meet lecturers and student ambassadors, and ask everything they want to know about the courses and services.

Guided tours of the Belval campus and the Luxembourg Learning Centre run every day of the fortnight. Places are limited and registration is compulsory, by Wednesday 21 October; a confirmation email follows with the practical details. The university’s page is in French and German, and lists the Bachelors taking part by faculty.

For parents, it is a simple way to let a teenager see a real lecture before choosing a degree. The university does not mention a fee.
