Black Belval is a nightclub at 371 route de Belval, on the road between Esch centre and the campus. It passed its first year in 2026 and describes itself in three words on its own profile: big, club, events.
The programming is the thing worth knowing, because it does not sit still. Friday is the Brazilian night, every week, billed in Portuguese, French and English at once, with pagode, funk and samba. Around it the calendar rotates through kizomba, semba and kompa evenings, Balkan nights, and hard techno. Few rooms in the south move between crowds that deliberately, and for a neighbourhood as international as this one that is the whole appeal.
Two practical things. Most nights are ticketed in advance through diafura.com rather than paid at the door, and the line-up is announced on Instagram rather than anywhere permanent. There is no fixed weekly timetable beyond the Friday, so opening times move with whatever is on.
