Palais des Thés

A French tea house in Belval Plaza with around 250 teas, from everyday blends to rare seasonal harvests, and a cup offered at the door.

The French tea house in Belval Plaza II, with around 250 references on the shelves: flavoured teas, single-origin teas, infusions, and a rotating selection of rare Grands Crus from individual gardens.

The house was founded in 1986 by François-Xavier Delmas, who spent years travelling to the gardens themselves rather than buying through brokers, and the shops are built around that: staff who will talk a beginner through their first oolong and a collector through a seasonal harvest with the same patience.

They offer you a cup when you walk in. It is a small thing and it tells you most of what you need to know about the place.

Gift boxes too, ready-made or made up in front of you, which is worth remembering in December.

Good to know

Best for
loose leaf tea, a gift, being talked through something you know nothing about

Thank you. That is exactly how this stays right: I will check it and update the page.

That did not send. Try again in a moment, or use the contact page.

Hours, an address, a closure: if this page is out of date, tell me and I will go and check. It goes to me, not onto the site.
