Spuerkeess, formally the Banque et Caisse d’Épargne de l’État, runs a branch at Belval Plaza with staffed counters and advisory offices alongside S-BANK self-service machines for everyday deposits and withdrawals. It was the bank’s fifth branch in Esch-sur-Alzette and 75th nationally when it opened in January 2009.
The self-service side matters more than most branch entries: the S-BANK machines run far longer hours than any staffed counter, from six in the morning to one at night during mall opening hours, which is worth knowing for anyone who only needs to pay in a cheque or withdraw cash outside office hours.
