15 September · 11:30 – 18 September · 20:00
The Luxembourg Food Truck Association brings its conference to Place de l’Académie for four days, from Tuesday 15 to Friday 18 September, 11:30 to 20:00 each day. Entrance is free. The strapline is eat, drink, educate, and thirteen traders are named on the poster, including Jay Nepal from Belval itself.
The poster names them without menus, so this is who is trading rather than what they are cooking:
- Smoked Burger & Co
- Ikoi
- Pasta by Bella
- M&G Thai Food
- NIU
- Restaurant Jay Nepal
- Degray
- Deccan Platter
- Sandwiché by Rudo
- Apple
- Les Fous de l’Île
- Noémie’s
- BLYND
Jay Nepal is the only one of the thirteen with a Belval address already listed on this site. Between them the names point at Thai, Nepalese and Indian food, Neapolitan pasta, burgers, sandwiches, coffee and ice cream.
Four days on a square in the middle of the campus, over a lunchtime and an evening each day, is a different proposition from a weekend festival. Tuesday and Wednesday lunch will be the quiet ones. What the poster does not say is whether there is a programme of talks behind the “educate” or whether it is simply trading, so if you are going for the conference rather than the food, ask them first at events@luxfta.lu.
