Plakkdeckel: Open Decks at MK Bar

Plakkdeckel is MK Bar’s monthly open decks night for electronic music. Anyone can play: bring your tracks, put your name down on the night, and you get a slot. No registration, first come first served, and beginners are explicitly welcome. Free entry, 17:00 to 23:00.

The bar describes it as sharing music, meeting people and experimenting, with no pressure and no perfection, which is a fair description of what an open decks night is for. If you have been learning to mix at home and have never played to a room, this is the low-stakes version. If you have not, it is six hours of electronic music in a bar for nothing.
