Food bank collection at Delhaize Belval

Today, Friday 2 October, Delhaize Belval is one of twelve Delhaize stores in Luxembourg collecting food for the Banque Alimentaire du Luxembourg, the country’s food bank. Add something to your shopping and hand it to the volunteers at the checkout exit.

The food bank’s priority list: oil, tinned food, pasta, rice, cereals, soups, coffee, cocoa, jam, biscuits, UHT milk and baby food. No fresh produce, please: everything has to keep until it is redistributed.

Delhaize has not published the hours the volunteers will be there, so the times on this listing are the store’s own Friday hours, 07:00 to 21:00. Going earlier rather than later is the safer bet. The full list of stores is on Delhaize’s food bank page.
