MK Bar

Belval’s small, loud live room gives metal, punk and hardcore bands a stage a short walk from the station.

MK Bar is Belval’s small live-music room, at the other end of the scale from Rockhal. Smaller touring bands and local scenes play close to the crowd, with no gap between stage and floor. The programme leans heavily towards metal, punk, hardcore and related sounds, and the bar is where everyone gathers around the set.

MK Bar opens on its event days, so check the gigs listed below before you go. The terrace is open in summer only. It is on Avenue du Swing, within walking distance of Belval-Université station. If you like finding a band before everyone else does, this is the room to watch.
