October 15 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
CyberDay.lu is Luxembourg’s annual cybersecurity awareness conference, and the ninth edition comes to the Skip Pavilion in Belval on Thursday 15 October, from 09:00 to 13:00. Fondation Restena runs it under the Cybersecurity Luxembourg umbrella as part of European Cyber Security Month, and it is pitched at the research and education world rather than at security specialists alone: a morning of talks on the things that actually catch people out, with an exhibitor area alongside. Last year’s edition drew around a hundred people, a good share of them students, so it is worth a diary entry if you study or work on the campus.
Two practical things. It is free, but registration is compulsory, and the form only opens two to three weeks beforehand, so late September or the first days of October is when to go back to cyberday.lu. The programme is not out yet either, and the organisers say it will appear a few weeks before the day. Past editions have run in a mix of English and French and have been streamed live for anyone who cannot get to Belval, though neither is confirmed for this year.
