The Archives nationales de Luxembourg have moved into a new building at 2 avenue des Hauts-Fourneaux, across the road from the blast furnaces. It holds the country’s archives.
The reading room has 48 seats for consulting original documents, which makes it the place to come for anyone tracing a family, a house or a village through the records.
The building opened to the public for the first time on 24 and 25 October 2026, with guided tours.
