EdTech Café, AI Special Edition

The LMDDC and SCRIPT open a cycle on artificial intelligence with an EdTech Café at Café Coyote, joined by Marco D’Amico, Deputy Managing Director at the Digital Learning Hub. The question on the table is how foundational knowledge, digital literacy and AI fit together: why learn to write if a machine writes for you, and how would you judge what it produces if you never had?

It is deliberately not a talk. One moderator, one guest and around fifteen people, in French and English, over a drink. That makes it as much for students, parents and the merely curious as for teachers and researchers. It also makes the seat count the thing to watch: entry is free but places are limited, so say you are coming through the Facebook event or write to contact@lmddc.lu rather than turning up on the night.

17:00 to 18:30 puts it in the gap between the working day and the evening, which is rather the point of holding it in a café instead of a lecture room. CyberDay.lu follows the next day at the Skip Pavilion, so the week carries two digital events back to back.
