Tokio Hotel at Rockhal

Rockhal

Before they were Tokio Hotel, they were four kids from Magdeburg called Devilish. In 2005 “Durch den Monsun” went to number 1 in Germany and Austria, and more than twenty years on the same four are still together.

Tokio Hotel bring the Arena Tour 2026 to the Rockhal Main Hall on Wednesday 18 November. Doors at 19:00.

The Kaulitz twins were teenagers from Magdeburg when the band became one of the biggest in Europe, and they have spent the twenty years since deliberately not being that band, moving into electronic pop and out of German. The tour follows runs through North America, South America and Europe.

Standing, Main Hall, promoted by den Atelier, so the ticket link goes through their listing on the Rockhal page.

Who are Tokio Hotel?

Tokio Hotel formed in 2001 in Magdeburg, in eastern Germany, around twin brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz, who grew up in the nearby village of Loitsche. Bill sings, Tom plays guitar, Georg Listing plays bass and Gustav Schäfer plays drums. In their early days they were called Devilish.

Their breakthrough came in 2005 with “Durch den Monsun”, a number 1 in Germany and Austria, followed by the debut album Schrei. From there they went international with English-language versions of their songs and became one of Germany’s most successful bands abroad. More than twenty years on, the four are still together, and in August 2025 they played a concert for the 20th anniversary of “Durch den Monsun”.

The Arena Tour 2026

The Arena Tour 2026 follows tours of North and South America and a sold-out European tour in 2025. It opened in London on 28 October and fills big halls such as the Hallenstadion in Zürich, Vienna’s Stadthalle and the Olympiahalle in Munich. Belval falls the day before Düsseldorf, and just a month after Encore came out.
