28 November · 10:00 – 19:00
The Rockhal turns into a laboratory for three days and the FNR fills it with researchers. Thirty or so hands-on science workshops, around 350 presenters, and scientists from across the Luxembourg research institutes answering questions about what they actually do all day. The 2024 edition drew more than 5,500 people.
Saturday 28 November, 10:00 to 19:00, is the day open to everyone, and it is free. The Thursday and Friday before it, 08:30 to 13:00 each, are reserved for secondary school classes, who book through the organisers. If you are coming as a family or on your own, Saturday is your day.
There is a Food Corner in the Main Hall and food trucks outside, so it is a whole day out rather than an hour. TICE bus routes 3, 4 and 15 stop nearby and the train to Belval-Université is a short walk. Organised by the Luxembourg National Research Fund with the country’s research institutes.
