FiNCH made his name in battle rap, then posted songs on YouTube in 2014, and his first single, “Ostdeutscher Hasselhoff”, said where he stood. He mixes rap with Eurodance, techno and a pinch of Schlager, and wears his East German roots with pride.
FiNCH plays the Rockhal Main Hall on Thursday 16 December 2027. Doors at 19:00.
The German rapper built an audience on deliberately unfashionable material, somewhere between parody and affection for the small-town Germany he writes about, and then turned out to be able to fill arenas with it. The live show leans hard into the joke without ever quite becoming one.
Standing, Main Hall, promoted by den Atelier, so the ticket link goes through their listing on the Rockhal page.
Who is FiNCH?
FiNCH is the stage name of Nils Wehowsky, a rapper born in 1990 in Frankfurt (Oder), in the east of Germany, who grew up nearby in Fürstenwalde, Brandenburg. He made his name on the battle-rap stage of “Rap am Mittwoch”, then began posting songs on YouTube in 2014 as Finch Asozial. His first single, “Ostdeutscher Hasselhoff”, came out in 2016.
His sound mixes rap with Eurodance, techno, rave and a pinch of Schlager, and he wears his East German roots with pride. The breakthrough came in 2019 with Dorfdisko. Today he counts among Germany’s most successful rappers, known for high-energy shows that fill arenas and festivals and for collaborations across genres.
In 2022 the Brandenburg state government commissioned him to write “jwd”, a new anthem for his home region that sings of its forests, lakes and fields. He is also a well-known Union Berlin fan, and he has called his two shows at the club’s Alte Försterei stadium in July 2027 “the biggest moment of my whole career”, as reported by the Berliner Zeitung.

- Dorfdisko (2019): the breakthrough album, No. 2 in Germany.
